Death at the Devil’s Bridge is a thrilling mystery book written by a Cynthia Defelice. It is filled with action and suspense.
The main character is a twelve-year-old boy named Ben. Ben loves to ride bikes with his best friend, Jeff. Ben works with his deceased dad’s best friend, Chick. Chick and Ben bring people to fish on Chick’s boat. Pops would always tell Chick,’’ You are a fisherman, not a shop keeper.’’ Ben was at the Devils Bridge with Jeff when they discover a missing dead body. The body is a missing boy named Daggett.
My favorite part of this book is definitely how Ben and Chick go fishing. Fishing is what my pop’s best friend and I love to do.
In a rating from 1-10, I would give this book a 9, maybe even a 10. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a lot of action and a little bit of drama. I’m not a big reader, but this is definitely a wonderful book.
